JIKEN: Jurnal Ilmu Kesehatan Nusantara is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes original research articles, review articles, and case studies in the fields of nursing, midwifery, pharmacy, public health, medicine, health sociology, and other related health sciences. The journal is published by PT. Nasyah Medika Care, Indonesia.

JIKEN is published three times a year, in April, August, and November, and welcomes manuscript submissions from academics, researchers, healthcare professionals, government institutions, and organizations engaged in research, science, and technology. All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process conducted by independent reviewers and are evaluated by the Editorial Board before acceptance. Only original manuscripts that have not been previously published or submitted simultaneously to another scientific journal are considered for publication.

Aims and Scope

JIKEN welcomes high-quality manuscripts from multidisciplinary health science fields, including but not limited to the following areas:

1. Nursing

Topics include pediatric nursing, medical-surgical nursing, maternal nursing, nursing management, mental health nursing, community nursing, geriatric nursing, emergency nursing, hemodialysis nursing, critical care nursing, perioperative nursing, family nursing, palliative care, health education, complementary and holistic nursing, and other nursing-related disciplines.

2. Midwifery

Topics include pregnancy, childbirth, obstetric pathology, neonatal care, infant and toddler health, community midwifery, reproductive health, family planning, maternal and child health, complementary and holistic midwifery, and related areas.

3. Pharmacy

Topics include pharmacology and toxicology, pharmacognosy, pharmaceutical technology, community pharmacy, medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutical analysis, pharmaceutical physics, natural products, pharmacy practice, hospital pharmacy, clinical pharmacy, case reports, and clinical trials.

4. Public Health

Topics include epidemiology, environmental health, occupational health and safety (OHS), biostatistics and demography, health promotion, reproductive health, community nutrition, maternal and child health, health administration and management, health policy, disease prevention, and health systems research.

5. Medicine

Topics include clinical medicine, preventive medicine, community medicine, family medicine, occupational medicine, communicable and non-communicable diseases, diagnostic and therapeutic innovations, and evidence-based medical interventions.

6. Health Sociology

Topics include the social and cultural dimensions of health and illness, health behavior, health inequalities, access to healthcare services, social determinants of health, healthcare utilization, medical anthropology, community participation, and the influence of social factors on health outcomes.

JIKEN encourages interdisciplinary and collaborative research that contributes to the advancement of health sciences, evidence-based practice, healthcare policy, and the improvement of health services at local, national, and international levels.
